On January 22, 2024, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada published a strategic plan that will guide our work for the next three years: Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada Strategic Plan 2024-27: A roadmap for trust, innovation and protecting the fundamental right to privacy in the digital age.
We are inviting feedback from stakeholders to help inform how the plan is implemented. Stakeholders may provide feedback using the following feedback form or by submitting comments via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In particular, we are seeking comments on how the OPC can most effectively advance the following strategic priorities:
- Protecting and promoting privacy with maximum impact
- Addressing and advocating for privacy in this time of technological change
- Championing children's privacy rights
Instructions on filling out the feedback form
The form is divided into the following sections: information about you; comments related to each of the strategic priorities identified in the plan; and any further general comments related to the plan.
Please note: The web application will not save work in progress. In order to prevent losing any unsaved longer-form responses, we would suggest preparing text in a separate document and then copying and pasting into the form before submitting your response. Responses will be saved to the system once submitted.
Stakeholders are invited to provide feedback by March 31, 2024. All comments will be reviewed and taken into consideration but will not receive a response. Your comments are greatly appreciated.
